I started gardening in the late 40s, pulling weeds and carrying 5-gallon buckets of water to my parents’ garden in central Minnesota. No weed killers and no commercial fertilizers to help the plants grow. A lot has changed since then, and over the years, my spouse and I have nurtured gardens in several homes and, recently, in container gardening on the deck of our Townhome. My goal is to combine my experience with the information I constantly filter to eliminate fads and misinformation and provide information that makes sense and works. Think of it as information tempered by experience and wisdom. Happy gardening!
